INSADONG
has a lot of the original Korean architecture.
But is a really tourist place.
There's lots of Western people in Insadong
and lots of ambassies.
Also apparently my dad used to go drinking a lot there...

The best thing about Insadong
is that it's in the centre to everywhere
and you find the best tea houses or food places in its many alleyways.
Also the trick with Seoul is to always look up.
Because there's more shops on the second, third, fourth etc. floors.

these photos are really great, especially the interiors. It would be really nice if you could click on them for a larger view (for example, I'd love to see the 3rd image in more detail)

Instead, you should use a program like photobucket.com or flikr.com
You will need to use html to post a small photo which links to a larger photo. google some html tutorials for more info. Also a great blog resource: www.bloggerbuster.com
